So my friend and I installed the Tein EDFC Control unit today. There's a harness with 4 wires: red - accessory power, black - ground, yellow - constant power, green - illumination. We hooked everything up and thought everything was correct. Fire up the car and noticed the unit wouldn't turn on automatically. So we clicked the power button and the unit turned on. We had no problem using the unit to set the stiffness and use the pre-program feature to program settings. But once we turn off the power and turn the unit back on, the settings are gone. So basically 2 issues...
1. Unit does not turn on when ignition is on. I hate having to click an extra button every time I start up the car.
2. The pre-programmed settings are gone when the unit is restarted.
Thanks in advance!

The first time or if I disconnect the battery I have to turn it on. After that it stays on and stores the settings. I wanted my EDFC backlit all the time so I wired it like that, no illumination on it.

The interior is like rainbow color now.. Red light from the AEM gauges, yellow light from the OEM lights, orange from the OEM gauges, now green from the tein EDFC controller... I just need some purple and blue and it'd be complete!
