Looks like we had a great event. It was really nice seeing some old faces and meeting some new ones. I know i had a blast. We had even a larger turn out this time, and next time im sure it will be even bigger.

People were saying the conditions were not as good. That must of been the case, because i still did not hit 12's. I must of hit five 13.0's and a bunch of 13.1's.

Also, would like to say thank you to Black Label Detail and Performance Powder coating. Thanks for the prizes and for being sponsors.

pretty decent time considering new car and all, what rpm were you launching at?

 

Great times on the track and at the after party.

My best times were a bunch of 14.2s with a few 1.9X 60s. Not bad for a 248 rwhp fat **** roadster with a fat **** driver. The MTs were fun and also scary. Every time I hit over 80 mph I started floating like a limp wristed fairy.

I'll never ride on street tires again. I wanna see vids, I heard that every time I launched my Z I squatted like a ****.

 

I def. had a great time and it always will be that way with the Mid-A crew.

 

It was a 240Z. I talked to the guy in the pits for a little bit, not sure if he's on the forums. Pretty cool guy, it's a shame he never got it dialed in just right. His wife said he went through like 3 sets of plugs that night. He did have a run in the 12.50's though...not too shabby. When I pulled in and saw it on the trailer, I was hoping that it had an L28T in it...but the L24 was REALLY clean under the hood.
I swear I could hear your rear fenders scraping your tires every time. But I'll tell ya', your roadster was lookin' damn nice.

yea we both had to get up really early the next day, otherwise we would have been all about it,

and Bert would have been taking some delicious shots

 

hmm... I thought we were going to see you run your car

 

oh we all took shots...just wait and see how we took them this year I think all together we went through two trays of 20 shots each-then one last shot of soco and lime for the boys as they closed...

 

sounds like a ridiculous time! I have some ideas as to how those shots were taken.. I will wait for the pics to confirm

Thanks. I don't remember exactly. I was trying out different rpm launch points each time I was at the light. I just went with what felt right.
