Default New in Baltimore

Just got moved into the city about 6 months ago, but I've been doing a lot of traveling for work.

Just picked up a new 07 NISMO #225

I used to compete pretty heavily in the mid souths SCCA autocrosses. I raced a STX Eclipse. Its been a few years though, finishing college and going into debt made me sell my car.

Hope to meet up with some of you guys, I don't have much to do up here.

Where do all the car guys hang out?

Welcome to the board! Where in the city are you? I was just there Saturday night. If you ever hear a plane passing by, that's probably me!

The Hunt Valley/Cockysville area. I work right off of York Rd.

I travel so much I live in a hotel and thats always changing. I miss having a closet that doesn't move

i bought my car in MS where I live(do most of my state side work in Bmore though). Drove it up yesterday. 15 hours FTL. My *** is still sore.

Just stuck a Pioneer D3 in right before I left. Took me about 6 hours. GF passed out drunk at 5:30am after a late night. I was still awake, so I started on it. I didn't really want to make that drive following a paper map.

Congrats on the purchase! Beautiful car! I think you can usually find out any information about local meets just cruising the boards here in the Mid A. You should take your car through Loch Raven on a Saturday afternoon, its a very fun drive. Its just a little north of Towson off of Dulaney. Welcome to the forums! I don't see a Ravens license plate frame?

Oh, I just realized you were from Altered Atmosphere. I'll be PMing you money tomorrow for a dyno spot at the meet may 10th. I don't plan on any mods in the near future but I would like to know what she lays down.

Awesome! I used to hang out in the York Road area a lot when I lived in Baltimore. There's a huuuge group of car enthusiasts there. You'll meet them in no time.

Hope so. There are a few guys at my gym that i train at that I hang out with some, but I'm bored a lot here.

GF and all my friends are still in school at Ole Miss in MS.

I want to still be a student

Turns out poor + parting all the time with friends > Have money and go to bed at 10pm

its not so bad in Bmore, could be worse.

I just got back from 3 weeks in Saudi Arabia for work, that sucked. Then they sent me for a week and a half in Australia. That was way better, but still didn't have anyone to hang out with.

Traveling is only fun with people.

On a side note, Kangaroos are freakin' awesome.

I hear you bro! I did some traveling for work with some 60+ years old men. I tried to start a conversation and talked about music. So I started talking about the oldest band I know of - ACDC. And the guys were like, "oh are they one of those new rock and roll band?" They they proceed to talk about jazz and blue and I just sat there with a big fat silly smile for the rest of the night.

Yup the Baltimore crew is pretty much the same as the columbia crew. I am about 20 mins from your area and grew up about 15 mins from York rd. When the meets start you cant really miss em if your on the boards. If you want to know some fun back roads in the area I can definitely show you around where they are. Welcome to the Mid-A!
