I like the look but would not reccomend it, especially from gotplugs.com!
They sent me there v2 wiper delete kit...1 week later the paint was completly stripped off the squirter plug(now bare metal and RUST) and was starting to chip off the wiper plug (which 'design elements' allow water to get in the hatch)
I emailed them about it and they said they would send me a replacement but have not heard anything since. They havent replied to my emails in weeks.

Sounds like a waste of time to me, maybe it doesn't rain where you live.

It does rain here, but I don't drive the Z every day- I work 104 miles from home so I have a daily driver.

So is having a big plug in your rear hatch.

If it weren't SO practical in this part of the world, where it rains so much, I would; the Zed DOES look so much better w./o. it, but, all things taken into
consideration, I'll keep it. What WOULD be nice is if Nissan would design it in
such a way that it hides itself in the hatch door when off (i.e. disappearing out of view!) THAT would be a win-win move on their part, the best of both
worlds!!!

I don't know if anyone has seen Gene's Blue Z at frederick nissan, but he did the rear wiper delete and then had the hole patched and painted like it was never there. It looks really good, I just think that's a bit too much work for me. The Plug looks better than the wiper. At least it's not all huge.

I believe the rear wiper is ugly and completely useless, even in the rain. We're not driving hatchback's people.

Dirt and rain do not get splashed up on wet roads. What's the purpose? I rain-x my rear window anyways so it sheets off.

I got mine from there because I figured it was already painted and would save me some work and from buying some paint. When I got it it wasn't even close to silverstone and there wasn't even any clear on it. So I had to strip it and buy some paint and re-do it. Now it looks good. I painted the whole thing inside and out sealed it from the inside. So far no leaks rust or anything bad and I wash it a lot. Oh and mine is the one that sits smooth. Not the big one that hangs over the hole. I'll post a picture later.

I got a sink stopper at Lowe's to plug the hole and I used a piece of black vinyl to cover where the sprayer was, MAKE SURE YOU PLUG THE LINE WITH A SCREW OR YOUR HEADLINER WILL BE RUINED. I do not miss my rear wiper one bit and it looks a million times better without the wiper.

motoring is still there (new and improved!), but Spiralfunk no longer makes the caps.

I was thinking about starting production of them actually. but maybe not.
