Yeah so long story short I blew out/tore my right Achilles tendon tonight playing basketball...or at least thats what the doctors in the ER informed me! Going to go see the Orthopedist tomorrow to see if thats the case, and if so, schedule my surgery to have it reattached, FUN!

So my questions are, has a similar injury happened to any of you guys and if so what were you experiences (i.e. time to heal, how long it took before you can drive again, things like that)?

It also looks like I will probably be missing out on alot of the meets for a while, definitely the ones this weekend...unless someone wants to chauffeur me around

whatever you do that injury is the key for walking..if the doc says 16 weeks...make sure you dont walk on it at all for that long my friend...

as far as the meets...someone will scoop you up...just stay active on the bizzoards...

Im down to scoop..but I am out of town this weekend..skyline drive maybe.

Ouch, I have a question for you then...approx how long was the recovery time? I am kinda curious how long it took to get back on your feet walking.

Good news is that i got an appt monday morning...weird thing is that appt wasnt available when i called them 15 minutes ago, but oh well...I least I can see someone sooner than later!
