Forgiato's are the wheels I'd get rid of my Savini's for....and it has been discussed. They're about as expensive too. lol

 

I'm starting to think about the black lip with the polished spoke. Everything black but the face of the spokes...

 

Here's what u do if you want to test it. Take electrical tape...tape them up...put them on...if you dont like it...take it off, if you do...take it off and paint it.

 

On a side note, I just ordered HFC's, time for my car to be quieter!

the black with the polished lip makes your car look a lot taller.

if you want to keep it low looking go with the pink lip and gloss black. it looks different and will stand out at meets but if you expect to get a date in that...

The lips I saw in those pics still have some definition to them, like they are dipped in a dark black chrome. I can clearly tell where the lip begins and tire ends -- with what you discribed originally that was not the case and made me think of the Hype's. You gotta admit the pattern of Eric's wheels and the Hype's are similar -- of course his iForged are actually quality made, baller status wheels -- not trying to knock E-Rock's wheels here.








I think your first instincts are always the best. I know when I got my PPW Z, I originally wanted Gold wheels and three different color sets later I still want a set. PINK FTW!!!

i havent seen this done on any car but can someone actually do gold? like a real looking gold where it shines like chrome

 

imo, the cleanest look is leaving it as is. so, just the polish for me.
