The First Settlers Porsche Club of America is having their driver's education this weekend at VIR and they will be offering charity laps (charity track tour) for $10. Saturday 5/24 from 12:30 - 12:50, and Sunday 5/25 from 11:20 - 11:40. I'll be there Saturday.

One of my co-workers and his wife are members of this Porsche club, and the club offers/sponsors driver's education classes @ VIR for their members.
Sometimes when a group is having a function @ VIR, they offer charity laps (which I have been told allows you to take your car on the track with a group of others behind a pace car to give you an idea of what it's like to drive on the track). You don't need a helmet and I believe they won't allow you to pass anyone either. It's just a fun slow run around the track. Not sure if you get more than one lap since this will be my first time.
