^ Thats news to me if the 9500i is undetectable, last time I was on the radar forums, the STI Driver was the only one that was 100% undetectable by a spectre radar detector. Radar detectors, some more than others leak a signal that police can pick up. Of course if the radar is in direct line of sight, that is just cause for a cop to pull you over.

I run a V1 in my Z, I only toss it up when its at night or I am going on a drive, or just plan on driving faster than I should -- no problems yet. I've had an escort passport, great unit, but once you try the arrows, you won't go back -- Good luck.

LANGTUBIP --- I def remember you posting up on the radar forums.

Ive used my V1 for 5 yrs, never got a speeding ticket (minus 1 ticket when I had my unit on MUTE for some dumb reason) otherwise: it saved me 20-30 times. Honestly, it's hard to get caught w/ a radar detector because cops in NOVA do not often use RDDs.

City driving: You'll get lasered, but there's a slight delay in picking up your actual speed. I believe you have 1.5 secs to react when the laser detector goes off. I was going 55 in a 35, got lasered for 41 after I slammed my brakes... the cop didn't do squat.

Highway driving:
they will most likely always use Radar (parked on the side of the road), most cops don't expect normal motorists to have radar detectors so they don't even bother having the spectre.

The only time where you'll have to worry about RDD: when cops are driving next to you/around the vacinity, they can detect signals emitted from your vehicle if you're a dumbass. First thing to do: take that shiet down!

Honestly... it's REALLY hard to get caught with a radar detector... especially in a Z! Clip it on your passenger side driver visor. The only time I got pulled over I had it clipped there and the cop totally missed it while speaking directly to me @ my driver's side window. The only ppl who get caught are ppl who leave it suction cupped to their front window like morons

IMHO: Radar Detectors are HIGHLY worth the money, better safe than getting bent over + points on ur license! Whats the worse that can happen.. they fine you? LOL Big whhooop!

The 9500i can be detected. It's the new, remote mount, 9500ci that is not.

I use a Bell. Most detectors today come with a VG2 invisible mode. From what I under stand, when your detector picks up the VG2 it goes into invisible mode.

My old mans friend actually just called him two weeks ago and he got snagged with his Valentine. Perhaps the cops have a new VG2 or his cloaking device in the detector fail to work that time.
