Thanks man. They are really good, im pretty impressed. Apart from the great numbers, car also runs a lot smoother. Oh and 8000 RPM SHIFTS! lol. Completely pointless but fun nonetheless.

First AAM Reflashed and fine tuned HR FTW

What were your numbers before the reflash?

 

i had 271whp prior to the flash and 278whp after the flash. disappointed in the overall dyno numbers because i've seen them in the 280 range but i guess we need to do some fine tuning to the nismo's to get them up. sondra's dynoed way lower which we are trying to figure out as well.

 

yeah gotta keep in mind mine was tuned.

I wonder why hers was lower. Everything is exactly the same right?

Her's is probably lower because of some minute detail. She could have a ring out of alignment and could be blowing by oil. From what I heard she's using a heavier oil than you, right Josh? That could rob some power as well. There are many variables that can add up to 10 hp...

I could tell you were disappointed from the run yesterday as well. I honestly would have expected more from a flash given your existing mods. NISMO's just an untamed beast.

My dyno numbers = fail 269hp. (but it's ok becasue I'm still a .1 faster than josh in the 1/4

Well considering they are squeezing every inch of HP out the motor from the factory, the mod gains are super low compared to use non rev and rev-up motors...

Considering you are running close quarter mile times to some boosted cars...dont beat yourself up too bad..speaking to 108.

lol I think we're going to put our stock air boxes back on- and we're looking at the AAM true dual exhaust (well josh is thinking about the lopsided looking ugly single exhaust {no offense at all intended to anyone that has it})
