FYI i usually host/go on/ participate in at least 5 Skyline Drives a year!

This one is on my Bday (july 13)....dont know if I can make it. Might through down and my place.

Rescheduling is rescheduling...you will never be able to accommodate all of us. All you need is 4 cars and its worth the trip....trust me 4 cars is better than 40 any day at Sklyine Drive....

Im down if its not on my Bday...Errrrrrrhhhhh Booooshhhhssssccchh...Vortech FTW!

Sure!! We had a vette, s2000, and a coupel WRXs on other trips. Add yourself to the list! Just post up the pics after the event and we'll call it even!!


You gonne be able to hang?? It gets a lil hairy on the curves sometimes! Esp when there's alot of people.

Gas = expensive. Don't think I will be going on any Skyline Drive Drives for a while.

 

Im not understanding when people say they are NOT going because of gas?


I bet you all spend way more money on useless stuff like playstation games, CDs, Mp3, or junk food...maybe even going out to eat for lunch everyday.

Im not bashing you man, just confused, you are like the 4th person I heard say that they werent doing something because of gas prices.

I love to drive more than the cost of gas. But then again. I dont own a playstation...still rockin Nintendo with like 4 games... lol Havent bought a CD since Dr. Chronic album (being silly) but you understand what I am saying.



This day is my bday so I might just make this one! Plus I have the season pass to Skyline...$30 bucks.... one day (weekend) pass is 15 bucks... season pass FTW!

 

Corey I think it comes down to how many of these skyling cruises have popped up as far as gas goes, I was unable to attend the original one David setup but will be sure to make the next one later in the year.

gotcha..maybe because I walk to work. I have a different outlook on gas. But I burn about a tank a week just running around to the store...lol

 

Nah, no offense taken man. I completely understand the thrill and passion of driving, so know where you are coming from; you know that gas is expensive and a Skyline Drive drive will be costly, but b/c that is expected, it is not a big deal

I have been on many Skyline Drive drives, and to me paying that much to do it yet again just isn't worth it, thats all. My extra money goes towards paying off my car and student loans early; thats more important to me than mods, video games, or clothes. I take the bus to work at least 3 times a week to not only save money but to also keep miles off the Z. I have a set food shopping list which is healthy and at the same time cost effective: no junk food here.

So, after I pay my debts down a bit, maybe I will have some more fun, but right now that is my priority. Besides, a stock Z in with a bunch of you ricers is no fun Have fun at Skyline, and later this year I will join the Mid-A group for more meets.

Skyline is all about the curves...make you next mod TEIN Springs....dont waist your money on coil overs...most who get them dont drive anywhere close to the capabilities that they were created for. I have stock shocks with TEIN 350Z H Tech (which isnt the most aggressive, S Tech are) and my car handles very well. Thats what makes Skyline drive fun...HP is worthless in the corners!

I didnt get S tech because I like being able to make it over speedbumps....

My goals is to get the most usable mods that I can for a daily driver...hence the 8psi Vortech and not the 9psi Twin Turbos...lol

 

So is everyone who signed up still planning on coming?
