you'd be surprised how much cooler it will be on top the mtn. Plus, there are trees everywhere so there will be plenty of shade. You don't really want to take her somewhere on a lake,, it will be humid and there will be bugs.

take her white water rafting or something along those lines that she wont expect...
get a deal on wakeboarding lessons... or rent jet-skiis
go for a hike at great falls, stop at one of the higher points and have a picnic overlooking the water...
if she likes adrenaline go bungee jumping
.. she would never forget that lol
wait for a clear night, build a fire and check out the stars/ talk etc... (well might be kind of hot for a fire now)
i dont know if she is the type that likes physical or outdoor activities/and or if you are looking for someting new, or something overly romantic
so these suggestions may or may not not help...

Bobby what I did for my gf to fall in love me me was took her to a private pier off the river at night when the stars where out and put a towel down and laid there so we could hear the wave lapping onto the dock and I told her my whole past and everything about me and pretty much all the cheesy stuff.
