Yeah that's the one, except the dealer stripped it to stock, and didn't fix the tune. So I've got a EcuTek tuner on the way to get the car running right again. Soon after a 700 HP package will be on its way!

Basically, don't work with Manassas Sheehy Nissan. They stripped the car but told me it was all still there (I knew it wasn't because I have eyes) but the fact they were blatantly lying to me pissed me off. Now they won't return my calls or emails etc. But all is good. Cars running well, price was good, and it's fun as hell!

Most dealerships and salesmen are pretty much the worst place/people you can deal with. I guess its a hit or miss kind of thing, but I had bad experiences with Sterling Nissan and Ted Britt Ford. The only not so bad experience I had was with Rosenthal Mazda in Tysons surprisingly.

Anyways. If you don't putting in some wrench time. There is a '99 RS for cheap. It has a iconic body style but the car is slow. Slower than the Z (gasp!) . Romraider won't work on the RS so you'll need to resolve the CELs properly.

When I looked at it I could tell that they stripped it to stock. But they had that sheet in the window like it still had everything still on it. In the end you still have a GT-R and you can get everything sorted out. Congrats again on the GT-R! I love going to Chantilly Nissan. They are mod friendly and a bunch of the GT-R owners like going there.

Yeah I'm not sure where they got any of their info from or if they were just making it up. They told me the trans was built too. First thing I did was take it to a GT-R tech (guy who used to work for AAM) and have him look over it. He said the trans had never even been touched.

Anyways... You're right. It's a GT-R. Nothing serious needs to be done to it. Doing spark plugs tomorrow or Friday and a tune next week.

I've heard awesome things about Chantilly Nissan and I believe I will be dealing with them in the future. The last thing I will ever do with Manassas is the free oil change they offered me.

You did right by taking it to the GT-R Tech. Well I can't wait to see your results!! Yes you should definitely go to Chantilly Nissan.

National G club does meets all the time. Most of the mid-a just does food meets and things along those lines.

The next big meet would be the College Park Tuning Meet. They haven't set a date yet, it's usually pretty big.

A few of the NoVa guys came down to Rockville and caravan'd out to the place where it was held. I think we had 9 cars?

Once the weather improves, we should set something up.

None of us are going to drive out to Reston to stand around in a parking garage, sorry.

Instead of those meets, why no arrange a hooters, bon chon, fudruckers or a track meet instead?
