thanks dude yours looked sexy as well. She was dirty when you saw her and my rear veilsides aren't on yet. Did my hks sound kinda quiet to you? I had my test pipes on for a while and had to take them off for emission and I feel like my car is a hybrid now from the sound lol. not used to it but now I'm getting used to it again. Curious if you think I should keep it that way or not.

ha ha ... well it's kindof a long story, but I've had the opportunity to meet this particular officer on a prior ocassion.

He came up to the passenger side of the car and said "Thanks for not running"
me "your welcome"
him "do you remember me?"
me "yep you're the officer with that cute little button chin that came to my house that night"
him ::smiles and blushes:: "that's right, do you know why I pulled you over?"
me "...um.....was I speeding?"
(I was prob doing in excess of 115 when i saw him and slammed on the brakes- radar detector went off when I got down to 80something.)
him: "yes you were speeding"
me "oh, i'm really sorry"
him "Lisence and registration please"
me "there's a story about that... see I just picked up my car about 10 min ago from the body shop... it was there for a month. My friend Monica has my purse in her car so I don't have any of that stuff... but you remember me and you know this is my car!! Maybe i have the registration in here"
him ::shaking his head and cracking a smile to himself::
me "oh here it is"
him "what is your date of birth... is this the correct address on your reg?"
me "give dob.. yep correct address" then I proceeded to BEG him not to give me a ticket that involves points because I currently have 11 points (2 reckless driving tickets -one of them was in a safety corridor) and I sell cars and I don't want to lose my sales lisence .blah blah blah....he goes back to his car then comes right back and askes me for my dob again... goes back to his car... seems like FOREVER... then he comes back...
gives me a ticket for doing 79 in a 70 no points
a warning for not having my drivers lisence or insurance card with me
then hands me my reg back and says this is void unless signed so you better sign it- then i get the 3rd degree about my exhaust, tint, and not having a wv state inspection.
All in all... it wasn't too bad- if you knew the history w/ that officer it would be much funnier... but that's info I can't divulge.

yeah what the F. 115mph and you have 2 recklesses and your job depends on your license? time to grow up.

 

Yeah after doing 125 in my max and getting caught at 110 and almost going to jail I slowed down a bit. I guess sitting in that court room with the lawyer was kind of a wake up call. I still top out my Z at times Im just carefull of where I do it

 

... time to grow up? Yeah, you're right, I have absolutley no sense of responsability at all. Before you make a judgement about someone, I suggest you figure out who you're talking to.

 

hey don't take offense I DO know who I am talking to. I am talking to someone who continues to speed excessively even though their job and license is on the line. And this was no judgment it is plain fact. I see now you are hard headed, but that will get you know where when then take your car and you can't work. Swallow you pride and slow down, I speed like crazy but at the race track where it's legal. I also hit 100-110 about once a week on this stretch of road that there is no where for cops to sit/radar, but I have a perfect record with +5points.

 

At least MD / VA doesn't crush your car when you are caught speeding. California FTL, i get more and more depressed when i read posts from that region.

( I still can't get how they can legally destroy your personal property like that)
