It is def. a fed legal car. Because I do have a legit paper works from Highway Safety, DMV, MVA (our Maryland-ers).

From FL (VIN stamped on front windshield, and the door jam), with clear title.
to MD (got it inspected by Nissan dealer (remember, it was a BONE STOCK), got bill of sale, and got the MD title after paying tax).

All the VIN is same VIN from Japan.

85K for an r34? Doesn't the fact that I can walk into a nissan dealership and order an R35 for less than that justify a price around 40~50K for a used car?

Just a thought

Nice looking car though!

To be a Fedlegal car it has to have DOT, US Customs, NHTSA and a proper US subtitue VIN. Having a florida VIN on it does not make it a Fed legal car. That means it went threw outside channels and is a state "legal" car. With a title that is transferable threw certain states only. Not CALI or AZ

A proper Legal Skyline will have a vin plate on the left handside a pillar saying
US SUBTITUTE FOR VIN SEE PART 565 BNR34-???????( As you stated is the Japan vin)

MD 12 digit vin can transfer to PA/ VA/ DE/ VW/ NC/ SC and several other states with no problems. In VA they are emission exempt.

R34s i do agree are worth a pretty penny even with the release of the R35. Given how rare they are and still an amazing car I think the price is pretty fair.

Like the car man. Tasteful mods and kept clean the way the car should be. Goodluck with the sale.

Also do you still have the gold BBS wheels and if so willing to sell them?

In terms of Reliabilty and cost of parts and everyday driving R34>R35, they are relitively easy to work on and very tuner friendly.
