Default Z mite be totaled

so day after christmas 7 days before me and my dad was going to get the tittle transferrd to his name i was going to meet a friend for dinner a 88 year old man failed to yeild and needless to say i was his target,the car doesnt look pretty and the collision center said that from what they see and have added up the cost of repairs most likly the insurance company will total it the car is payed off so i will get to keep the car so be o nthe look out for parts the things that wont be for sale that was damaged is the front bumper,hood,windsheild,radiator,front driver side fender, driverside front wheel but all platics inside everything will go. I will post up in the mid-a forsale first to give everyone around first dibs, Please hold all inquries till i post a FS Thread as soon as i talk to the insurance company ill post up.

yep plus the rental car they gave me is a maxima 3.5 and my z was a 05 performance model

Generally speaking, the insurance company is the new owner of the car when they give you a check totalling your car. They will usually allow you to buy it back from them for their assumed salvage value.

i own the car there is no me buying it back, the insurance company has already told me that since it is payed off and i have kept full coverage ins they will give me thier assumed salvage value.

just talked to the collision center a prelimanry est was done today and he said that means just a walk around of the car no taking stuff apart est and it was just shy of 10k it isnt looking good it goes in monday to have the fenders hood bumpers taken off so he said most likely the est will go up. Ooo and he said he doesnt know but it looked like we he got done to look under the car there was a puddle of oil i hope they total they dam thing
