as someone who has then, I would say they are a complete pain in the @zz.
I tell everyone, don't do it if you plan on daily driving the car. It's only worth it if you are building a show car for competition.. but I would not ever consider it again..
I think they are great for show, and attract a lot of attention. And honestly I don;t have any problems with the door shocks, they have lasted years now without an issue.
But still I would take the money and put it into performance mods if you really like to drive the car.

I had 'em on my z, no major problems, just the side panels will go bye bye lol. I had the VDC kit, which even though had problems, it was one of the least problematic ones out there.
Now the GT factory kit is Amazing. But costs 4k+ with parts & install, now those go up 90 degrees, bambam & pumpedva got 'em !

but other than that, I had mostly nothin' but compliments !

How you doing man? Been a long time, I have not been around to many meets in a long while. You still beating on yours or trying to take it easier these days?

 

I am going to agree with bambam and Berto on this one. 4 years ago when I was building a show car they were a great idea but now I cant stand them! No problems with mine and about 3k+ to install and double to remove.

 

i never really used mine except for show-i liked em though. would i do em again right now? no. do i regret adding them on 5 years ago? no.

fucha made a point to open them up lambo style everywhere he went. i only opened them up at shows or to show friends.
