Default Replace Stock Seats or Not?

At the Columbia Pho meet I remember seeing one of you with Black Bride seats [can't recall who]. I've been thinking about switching out the stocks for something else and somebody recommended Brides. Well, after checking out their site....uh.....I'm not spending 2g's on some seats so can you guys suggest any other brands that will fit in the Z?

I ordered a Corbeau catologue and was thinking about those but I'd rather hear some other opinions from anyone who's upgraded.

I have Bride Seats in my car, they're the shiiiz! You might pay less for another brand, but this is something you're going to be sitting in for years to come, hours and hours a week! Might as well get something good.

I agree...100% but I saw some Bride seats going as high as $1400 per seat. I'm no cheapskate but c'mon isn't that a bit too high???

Hmmm....it may have been because it was the first thing that stuck out when walking past the car and they weren't the typical blk/grey Brides I've seen in the tuner mags.

+1 on that - if you have a waist bigger than 32" you can probably forget the Bride seats. I would wait for the next big F:T event and see if you can test sit some different seats while you are there.

Recaro's may offer a larger selection and still give you an aggressive look, plus they may also offer models that still recline and such. Unless you are going for the full-on race setup. BTW - it seems most women over 25 have no love for the race seats, nothing worse than your girl asking you to take the "other car" because the seats are more comfortable.

36-38 Waist and I'm pretty stocky from years of on/off weightlifting. Doug from Fresh Designs told me I should ask to sit in some of the other members' cars and see which style fit me best.
But I can just see the looks I'd get.

Me:"Hey, you mind if I sit in your Bride driver's seat just to see how it feels?"

They have different sizes. But I think Bride is a tight fit in general. I remember sitting in ANh's car.... Even my 33" waist was hurting!

I know I took some pics of my 1st and last whitewater trip and had to reduce them to send them through e-mail to someone. I'll try and find that disk and bring it into the office tomorrow.

Thanks for the seat info. Now I guess I need some diet tips from NX2

The best diet tip is to join a gym and not be a lazy sack of **** an as for male underwear, I mean somebody has to be the guy giving you ideas on how you would look in that leopard skin. As for me I am a size 32" and I have no problem fitting anything and standing out in public oh and my waist size is 33.

Sorry man, I'm all about the boxer briefs. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing a banana hammock. And FTR, I've been a card carrying Gold's member for a while but working 9-10 hrs behind a desk catch up to you after a while...

I know what you mean, 9 hours a day behind a desk for me too, I have a membership to a MMA gym but its becoming quite seldom that I am going any more the only thing I have been punching is a keyboard lately.
