Dude, don't listen to these fools. This is what people do on this forum, they take what information you have given them, and completely turn it against you.

Yea you are lucky enough to have been born into some money, and will be receiving a Z as a grad. present probably. I bought mine right after graduation with my own money, and a co-signature from my father, but I make all the payments on it and what not.

But this thread began as a question as to what lips there are for the Z, not about how you are still in high school, and are waiting to get your car still. Look at these guys, they're in their upper 30's+ and they're on the internet like nerds all day, using abreviations for what they want to say and have multiple thousands of posts. People here love to speak with their little fingers, not with their brains.

You really should spend some time on here and search around first before you start asking obvious questions though, and to answer your original question....here:

https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-an...ip-sticky.html

Anyways, hope this helps. And just watch out for what you say on these forums haha

Hmmmmm.....
I see that you haven't pass from simple math yet senior brat....

First, to get to the 4 years @ $37,000 a year you need one of these variables:

* Finish high school.
-> Get a more than an average job since HS will only get you $30,000 jobs tops.
-> Wait a few years to get experience to get more money due to that.
-> Work with daddy, which would still get you flamed.

Even so, lets say you fulfill the requirement for the equation, now, lets put those numbers into the real world instead of keeping them on your dream reality.

4 years @ $37,000 a year = $148,000
$148,000 - Taxes (~30%, single, no dependents, no school help)= $103,600

That takes out a big chunk of the cake, thinking that you get the $37,000 you are asking for! And not $30,000, which would leave you at: $75,600!!!

I really don't understand what your equation was about, but if you have at least an IQ over 10, the numbers would continue as follow.

$75,600 - $1,000/month * 4 years (money to at least to help parents with rent/food although they will not need it, and different personal expenses)= $27,600!!
Add the price of gas, insurance, and regular maintenance that every formal person pays for himself and you will have enough money for a Z and a bag of chips.

I put this variable because I am sure that you will not leave the nest until you have children. But if you want to sound mature and think that you will, please substitute the $1000 I put for: Rent + Food + Phone/TV + Insurance (+ possible speeding tickets or crashes the way you sound) + etc.
You might still get your car, but tightening the belt like most of us.

Oh!! And Good luck getting a 07 San Marino Blue for $20,000!!!!!

The $37,000 a year is tuition....

As for the reference to the cost of a Z, it doesn't necessarily have to be a SMB Z, not to mention it says $20,000-$25,000. Oh wait, looky here : https://my350z.com/forum/cars-for-sa...no-blue-z.html

What is the price on that? Cool. Americans > Foreigners

As for the "trying to impress", I'm not. I was simply stating that I have a decent amount of seat time in a track car, I can handle my own in the driving category. I understand I'm young, and teenagers do stupid things, I'm not saying I won't do something stupid, but I'm saying that I have experience, and have handled a car that is easily superior to the Z.

You know what dude, I am all up for jokes and all the crap that posts normally turn into. But if you are going to step that low and start with crap like that I rather stop the conversation on my part. I know that a rat bites once its cornered, but you should still keep it clean.

I know how I get once people start touching stuff like segregation, racism and immigrant hate. And I don't want to get banned or start generalizing and getting all North American user against me just because of you.

Besides, with comments like that you just prove what you are: A spoiled cry baby.

Enjoy your stay on these forums.

Boohoo. Funny how a High Schooler can press your buttons like this. Yet, you call me the cry baby....

You've been spoiled also. You were welcomed in to this great Country.

^After his previous post, I revoke my defenses on his part.

You shouldn't be so narrow-minded dude. And making comments like your previous one will definitely get you kicked out of here real fast.
