Doesn't seem to pull like a high 120's car, but it's pretty fast.

Alberto by 2-3 bus lengths.

Almost positive my friend ran that Green Evo and smoked him...

I could be wrong but either way you guys seem to have a decent seen going on with quality cars. Hard to find now a days, pretty crappy over in Glen Dirty, Northern, etc.

Im not familiar with the runs over the bridge, where do you run? How "safe" is it?

In the video with Damien why did it look like the Cobra wasn't ready? And the beep's go....beep.....beepbeep! lol. Im familiar with Cobra's and a stock 03/04 Cobra with good driver can trap a 120. With bolt on's mid 120's with KB and 25psi he is indeed over 600whp and would trap 130-133 and net a mid to low 10 sec pass. But if he's talking hype then toss all that bla bla out the window.

My cousin Tommy from JPC's Cobra went 9.80's on a KB blower, with 75 shot, full weight and on drag radials in 2005. But Tommy is also a hired driver and flawless.

Thats what I was saying earlier.....usually a kb cobra is good for at least high 120 traps. Evo definantly had the quick 3rd beep syndrome which is common these days, but I would have thought the cobra would be reeling him in fairly quickly.

Exactly lol. 100% say the evo got the major jump. But the Cobra's don't wake up unless you hit them with 20psi. Those blowers have more displacement then a evo motor. 3.4 liter blowers they are. So what you got is how turbo lag is to import motors a massive blower is to v8's. Only thing is slam on a larger pulley and you eliminate lag but are stuck on 25psi. If he comes out on a race tune with larger pulley and more boost. Then knows how to drive my money is on the Cobra.

I haven't been over yalls way in a while. I may have to pay a visit and peep out this said Cobra.

I know a couple guys with KB cobras and they all trap b/w 128-133ish. One is making nearly identical power and it runs closer to the 132 with a 6 sp. That thing really moves, but I have seen it go down to a couple turbo ls1's and big single supras in the past.

Ya a KB Cobra is like a big single supra. Easy to lay down gobs of power but using it, putting it the ground and shifting right is what embarrasses most owners. I ran a 74mm single turbo F-body and i got pulled bout half a car. And it was a 3 way race. 3rd car was a twin 71mm turbo built Cobra and he just yanked me and the Camarro like nothing. All 3 cars where on pump gas ( which mine is slow on pump gas ) But still a killer Cobra it was.

Its very safe. i wont say where we run cause these forums arent as protected as ours but you wont have to worry about cops or traffic. Well you wont have to worry about cops being able to do U-turns i should say.

You need 10 posts to access everything then make 1 more post to make you an active "resident". Security feature.

THere're like 100000000000 of guys that fit that description! Supra rooooccckkks! Hope this event happens soon so I can see some different local scene.
