Yeah, I just watched the video. How dare a Z driver let a Civic Si keep up with him going down the track!

The one time I dont go to an event there 50 Z's and a bunch of videos. Also if you ran 14.8 you need to turn your traction control off before your run.

It seemed to me like most of the Z times were in the 14.000 time frame around 95-99 MPH.

Seems crazy....temps and DA were pretty good, and MIR is easily on of the fastest tracks in the country. When is the next event? May have to come down and represent for the NA guys.

If I remember correctly the temps were only a bit warmer than when I was pulling 13.48-13.55 (3 passes) down there with less power than I have now.

As long as everyone had fun though.

We are having a track event at MIR in a few weeks and you can come down and run with us if you want. I'm going to PM you the details along with a few other members.

The next big event I'm going to is Imports vs Domestics. Its the reason I mod my car every year. Last year I made it to the quick 8 and lost against my friends maxima. I beat out an M3 in the quick 16. We definatly needed more Z's in the street stock class.

For you guys driving a Not Stock/Bolt-ons 07+ VQ35HR, you can get in the top-25 with any time.

And I think we are doing a Top-50 with 100% stock down to the tire . Again you can get in with any time.

I have a stock 370z, which will have an AAM True Dual Exhaust bolt-on this Friday. I'd consider running, at least in the fun run category.

I was the one on the left, car 707

you can see it in the video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noTMWto74LQ

You can see I took off first, and he was a few feet behind when I finished, theres NO WAY he beat me.

Now about that traction control, I had no idea, I think I could have done at least a little bit better if I had known. Theres always next time!

Whoa, was that the yellow one I saw parked way in the back? Man you should have come up and parked with us, we had like four or five parked in a row about half way down the track. Oh well, next time!

Yeah that was me. The flagman looked at me funny when I tried to go left. ;-) I didn't see any other Z's parked (must have missed ya).

Next time, I'll be sure to go down with the group so I don't miss out on the fun. ;-)

and of course, the timeslip... I know Im slow, first time out there!

707 crossed the finish line first. 707 wins. Pretty simple.
