so tell me if you guys have ran into this problem. I got my cat-back system installed about a week ago and yesterday while i was driving in low rpm between 1k to 2.5k i can hear a rattle. like a metal to metal rattle. it sounded like it was coming right underneath me. it would only rattle when i start to accelerate or go over a bump. then this morning i drive to work and the rattle is gone.
i tried to look under the car but couldnt really get a good look. just waiting till i get spare time to put it up on a lift.
i think it might be the connector bar running accross to each HFC but idk. any help greatly appreciated.

Another reason I hate other people working on my car, I hate having to check something after the fact, at that point I might as well do it myself.
I installed my own exhaust and when Nissan replaced my tranny they had to remove my exhaust in order to get the tranny out, I get the car back and it rattles at different RPMS... WTF get under the car loosen everything, tweek it and sure enough, perfect.
Weird how my Powerlab kit seems to have rubbing problems with people all over the place, yet I did my own install making sure clearance was NOT an issue and sure enough. ZERO rubbing problems.
surprise surprise

If you did your own install you would already know if it's rubbing or not.

yeah i hear you on that i would have done it myself but the mechanic gave me a awesome deal on the exhaust so i figured i would help him out by letting him install it.

What should i do with my honda? Clutch is gone and it needs a distributor. Starts fine when its dry out. I dont think I will get any money if I donate it.
maybe I will put it on craigslist for $300. The new tires and battery are close to that HA!

it is a 98 accord LX 208000 miles. It was the first car I ever bought by myself. Ive had it forever. It just kills me because the engine itself is still strong. All the services were done at the dealer for the first 100,000 miles of its life (my aunt owned it). I bought it for like 2500 bucks and it has had no major issues at all. Shows what oil changes and regular service can do for a honda.
I mean its pretty beat up from living in the city for five years. I dunno. I guess I got everything I can out of it and its time to just donate it or whatever.

I know right. I just took the stereo out of it. (ghetto mobile. Speakers are worth more than the car). Im gonna try to sell that and then just dump it for whatever I can.
