true so should i go FI then get a bbk kit e10 by the way i take full credit for making E10
And btw I really don't see a point to get expensive BBK unless you're tracking your car. Most of these monster BBK actually makes daily driving type of braking worse because they were made to operate better at higher temperature (aka the track). They suxk big time when you drive on the street. OEM brembo is really sufficient enough. Just get OEM brembo, toss some steel lines, some better rotors and change to some good brake fluid and you're GOOD TO GO!
Woody you dont need bbk, your current calipers are good enough even if you go FI. The OEM brembos are not the greatest, but they're good enought for the job. Just get some harder pads, preferably Hawk HP plus which will accumulate alot of brake dust but you'll stop quickly. also up grade to slotted rotors. you cannot resurface cross drilled, and plus some cross drilled rotors crack. Some brands actually drill them after they are molded from what i hear. If you need your Tires mounted and balanced for cheap let me know.
I upgraded to some Stop-TECHs and bought steel lines before getting my new wheel/tire set up. Haven't had an issue since. Only regret is not switching out for better [and colored] calipers. And +1 on the hatred for drilled rotors. They may look cool, but I've heard they can warp and develop hairline fractures after too much hard braking.
And as for brake fluid Dont get something like motul dot 5.1, I have never seen it at walmart, pepboys, advanced auto, etc but you can get it if you heard desires, and its about $20 a bottle. Valvoline dot 3 and 4 brake fluid is more than enough.
