for the cost just buy a used Greddy or JWT kit on here

I'm kinda hesitant when greddy kits... i've seen so many issues with those things.. not only that.. people been having issues with their motors going after installing the greddy kit using their emanage.

It's all in the tune.. but i've seen manifolds cracking, greddy turbo seals blowing... yikes..

never heard of the jwt kit though...

But twin turbo's does sound a lot cooler than a single lol

 

I dont think anyone serious about turboing there car uses emanage its crap I am using an osiris tune (retune ecu)

manifolds cracking can happen on any

and turbo's seals blowing depends on boost all teh greddy kits use garret turbo's wich are the same turbos as are in 90% of turbo kits.

I have the JWT 530bb TT kit and it is garret turbo's


its all in the tune and your supporting mods

All the manifolds i've seen crack were SUPPosed to be cast and NOT break but that seems to always go on the greddy kits...

I'm not exactly sure what the problems were on the greddy turbos... maybe they weren't using the restrictors like they were supposed to or maybe they did raise the boost... but raising boost doesnt necessarily kill the turbos...

Tune is def everything...I've been building and boosting for years... i just simply hear and see issues mostly with the greddy for some reason...

People are probably taking what a 8 psi kit supposed to be and trying to turn it into something it's not.. iv'e seen that a lot..

I'll check out the JWT one...but if i go Fi on the Z, it'll probably be a long ways away since its my daily and i already got a monster at the shop lol..

no I have done everything but the coils on the car myself thus far... I will be doing the BBK myself but im not tackling the TT install lol

if i'm going to buy an exhaust.. there is this one exhaust already in mind that i want. If i get that i wont be buying any other exhausts.. but this is free lol...

 

I was also under the impression that the DE motors dont handle boost very well.. which kinda freaks me out..
