I didn't know the AAM open house was today. They're not far from me. I should go and ask to meet the owner.

Not a problem, as soon as I know I passed those, I will let you get them. It would be wise to take each A.S.E. after each course in school. I wish I would have done that, my mind would be a little more fresh on domestic systems.

Exactly how the A.S.E's are!

Exactly!

I'd love to get a BMW but just knowing how stuck up the other owners are I really don't want to be part of it...

My buddy has an E46. Keep in mind that most BMW aftermarket premium parts are also x2 $$$$$ of that of a 350z. From s/c to engine management.

Also going from a 80mph roll, bmw's (bust my windows, bus-metro-walks), are speed limited to 155mph. ISF's are 170mph. Keep in mind that these are factory speed limiters. Just my $.02.

Everytime I drive into my dealership with the Mercedes I get nothing but a free loaner.

I did pay to have one wheel redone but that's it to date.

As far as basic stuff goes, oil changes on the benz is around $200.00 but they comes with a loaner, washing, topping all fluids off, 8 quarts of Mobil 1 and another 12K miles before you have to do it again.

VS 20-30 bucks every 3K miles..... it's not that bad. plus there's next to no down time. Drive in, drop keys and get in another car and drive off.

Lets not forget BMW taking care of the first x many years/miles of service from brakes pads up.

Now having a 5+ year old used BMW or Merc... no thanks I'd take it straight to someone like Hills.

You can get the same service at most Lexus dealerships.
