If you want to compete on a high level you need to run 3-4 way moton, penski, or JRZ shocks....expect to pay a minimum of 8k for those alone. You will also want a selection of custom springs of varying spring rates to mate with them. The reason the greddy brakes are garbage is they have ZERO support in brake pad selection. You will need an extreme pad.....such as Carbotech XP14/16. As for tires....he will need to run Hoosier/Yokohama/etc pure slicks to compete in super modified....probably a 295ish in front....305+ rear.

Most probably haven't, but any Pro level race car will use one of the three dampers I listed above. The forged GTR is using 3 way JRZ's. They are essentially a must have for any high level (national championship) club racing and higher.

Not that much.
Buddy Club Racing spec coilovers (this setup uses 4 springs on the rear of the car)
(Monotube construction, full length height adjustment separate from preload, adjustable dampners)
Spring rates in LBS Front 748 Rear progressive 336 to 672 + 280 linear on dampner
Stiffer then oem springs by F+238% R+233% to 331%
$1555
Not about to say they're in the same ball park but not a bad start either.

I put up the above in reference to the gamerdotcom dude.....he intends to build a super modified time attack car. If you want to play at that level 3+ way shocks are a must. Even the FX NSX, which in comparison to others, is a low cost build uses custom valved KW clubsports.......all the other serious contenders are on external 3-4 ways.

But that guys isn't building a time attack car with those parts anyway. From the looks of it he's building a show car with a lot of expensive parts that'll pass for what "He" thinks will be a a time attack car should be.

That car will never see track time.

hey guys..im helping my sis out in getting a Nissan Rogue AWD with 360 option
whats the best price on it?
Carmax is offering 21, 400
Naitonwide is offering 21, 200
how much lower can i haggle it down?
dealer cost is 19, 965 ( taking out incentives and dealer holdback from the actual invoice)
5% profit for them is 20, 800
what is fair?
