So im thinking about getting into powder coating and spray painting. I found out today that since i work for a huge painting company that i am able to get any color powder i desire. Also get discounts on automotive paint. So i think im going to start a new hobby.

Once you get good you can do my motorcycle rims for real
Ok cool man just give me a color and i will do it. Im only going to be using a regular size oven. So biggest thing i can fit is one car rim at a time.
lol you should do it as well. Who knows maybe one day start your own business. Eventually powder coat anything and everything. lol you can powder coat anything. Rims, Valve covers, Bike frames, babies. the sky is the limit.
i had actually been thinking about it for awhile now. Always looking into the proper prep and process and its fairly simple. I have the space to do the work and time really isnt a issue. Plus painting my own parts would save me a crap load of cash. Im thinking about starting small like my XBOX Controllers lol...

My wife and I were traveling by car from Orlando to Syracuse, NY. After almost 11 hours on the road, we were too tired to continue and decided to take a room. But we only planned to sleep for 4 hours and then go back on the road. When we checked out 4 hours later, the desk clerk hands us a bill for $350.
I exploded and demanded to know why the charge was so high. I told the clerk that although it was a nice room, it certainly wasn't worth $350.
Then the clerk told me that $350 is the "standard rate." I insisted on speaking to the manager.
The manager appeared, listened to me, and then explained that the hotel has an Olympic-sized pool and a huge conference center that were available for us to use.
"But we didn't use them."
"Well, they are here and you could have," explained the manager.
He went on to explain that we could also have taken in one of the shows for which the hotel is famous.
"We have the best entertainers from New York, Hollywood, and Las Vegas who perform here," said the manager.
"But we didn't go to any of those shows."
"Well, we have them, and you could have," replied the manager.
No matter what amenity the manager mentioned, I replied, "But we didn't use it!"
The manager was unmovable, and eventually I gave up and agreed to pay. I wrote a check and gave it to the manager.
The manager was surprised when he looked at the check. "But sir, this check is only made out for $50."
"That's correct. I charged you $300 for sleeping with my wife."
"But I didn't!" exclaimed the manager.
"Well, too bad. She was here and you could have."
