well i would love to find a place on the bay or on the beach, somewhere i can open my windows and smell the sea air.

is it really far? VA Beach looks like it would be about 20-30 minutes from Norfolk. is it the traffic?

Its in the buissness center...looks like a self storage lot, took me like 4 times passing it to find it.

However,they are doing some body work for me in about a week( replacing a door shell after some *** kicked it in while I was on duty). Great shop, more then fair prices, if your on *** we can drive out their one day or I can give u their bizzcard.

 

from VA beach to norfolk...not that much traffic....only about a 10-15 min drive cruisng at like 80. Fun drive

i'm on Naval base too, but i'm going IA next week, have to pay for all that work some how, so what better way than tax free money.

but, yeah the guys over at Sage are a great group of guys, i know right now they can get some great deals on Work Wheels, and they are working on getting Volk's here in the near feature.

I'm orinally from NY actually...Grew up on West Point Base(Army Brat, but in the Navy); then I moved to manhattan when I was 17 for college. Yeah NYS can be so unpredictable with the weather. Nice 80-85 degree summers then 22 degree winters...the snow wasnt the worst it was the slush...

snow+rain+snow= slush FTL

Im also a little nervous about the laws here; I have an agency power single exhaust coming in the mail...I cant wait to hit up the chesapeke tunnel bridge with that abd boy in.

ha ha ha, yeah man, the weather in NY is weird. it gets so cold in NNY during the winter, when you go to start your car in the morning and push in the clutch, the hydraulic fluid was almost frozen solid and you could barely push the pedal down. -20F mornings FTL.

at least i don't have to worry about seeing this crap in VA:

I will be heading to the area from pensacola fl.. its been about 8 years since i been in that area. how is the scene? we definitly need to get a meet together. i was there this week to buy a condo in ghent and holy crap i dont remember the roads being that jacked up. my car is slammed and now i think im going to have to raise it.lol do they still have like the friday or saterday meets in some random parking lot. i remember a while ago they would meet at the military circle mall i think... anyways looking foward to the area not!!!!!!.

I'm about to raise mine up a little too. The roads have gotten progressively worse. Every now and then they try to fix it up a little. Take notice of the area you are going to be in around ghent, some parts of that area are prone to unusual flooding. No more meets like 8 years ago with a jillion people in some parking lot. As far as I know, no one meets at military, you get the occasional group around Lynnhaven mall though.
