? with normal brakes or just the steptechs?

Back on topic. Im interested to hear why (if its normal) do the rear brakes wear faster? I was under the impression the fronts took most of the load. Or is it because in a BBK setup the rears are significantly smaller than the fronts.....

Just looking to get some knowledge from you gurus

Lots of factors go into braking and pad wear. The size/type of tires, weight of wheels, pad material, etc. The Z also has electronic brake force distribution. If your ripping around the twisties the system can load up the rears more.

Also Stoptech spends alot of attention in the R&D department to not offset the factory ratio of front to rear brake bias. Did you get the Axxis Ultimate pads with the Stoptech kit or some other brand, if it is different pad compound wear will be at different levels as well.
