ATTENTION: Would the Real LNR Crew Please Stand Up
On backroads, I hope ya'll know that turbos make you go slower since anything beyond 300whp is basically useless since you don't really go faster than 40-50mph unless you want to fly off a ditch. Unless of course, the road has a bunch of straights or long sweeping turns, but even then you'll only be able to use your power for 5-7 seconds until you have to slam your brakes for the next corner... which in turn eats your pads faster and heats them up like a ****.... which ultimately gives you the "mushy pedal feel" and you'll just be slower for the remainder of the turns.
Unless you've upgraded your brakes when you slapped on that turbo, don't expect to be "fast" on a backroad just cuz you can go 0-120 in 10 secs. You also need effective braking technique and effective brakes w/ all that power on these roads.
A quote from Mr. Shiroma himself, "The middle pedal wins races."

Well I will be the first to admit that my car might not be the best on backroads. It was built with straight lines in mind. Everyone has their own thing. But that won't stop me from coming out with you guys !
I have yet to have a built block "beat" me. That middle peddle wins the race for me, because I rarely use it...hence the need for me NOT to upgrade my braking systems. If you know how to drive brakes are optional, unless you are on an unfamiliar road. Id like to think that these runs are for fun and for enthusiast. The #1 goal is safety. We have lost an HR (3 days old) already, no need to add to that collection.
txshldm if you are running more than 450 on that stock block... you may win today... but I will pass you when your block pops in a few months. Obviously its all about the tune, but to push more than 440 on a DJ is pretty much the limits. Make sure you take care of that set up. The spool is sick on the AAM TT, no need to push it harder than 440 unless you pen is small.
lol
it will be fun nonetheless.

Knowing your car, mad autocrossing, 84,000 miles in 3, years and more night time driving than day time FTW!
ohh and 2 inches F and 4 inches R (more rubber than stock) helps too! LOL
