Yes a pretty big list of minor stuff lol... The car should be ready in the next 2, 3 days!

Like Slim's car... fixing another shop's mistakes... I think Scott's on the same boat!

1 shop's mistake gets fixed at another shop who also makes mistakes who gets fixed at another shop. Then you're like, "F all these shops I'm doing it myself!"

It looks like Hill's should be starting on my car today to fix all the mistakes from "another shop" along with upgrading to the Osiris tune. Hope to have it back by middle of next week. **fingers crossed**

Scheduled an appointment in mid May at "the shop" that rarely makes mistakes. New tires and meth .

Shop X: "Good afternoon, I just opened up my shop and I was wondering if you'd like to come in so I can F' your car up kind sir?"
99% of Mid-A: "Absolutely! How much for a hack job?"
Shop X: "Only $100/hr!"

Automotive shops - "better than being a weatherman" where you can always be wrong and still keep your job... AND F' ppl's $h!t up yo!

Slim, where do you think I can find an employment application for these said places?

For all the miles and years on some of these cars they sure happen to be finding a lot of "mistakes" late in the game.

Funny you said that. You just opened up a the opportunity for the biggest argument of the year! I don't know where you stand with all these. But if you hear more of the inside scoops you might be convinced. It really does get ridiculous...

Personally my car was out of the "previous shop" like 2+ years ago. After that I've driven the car for less than 1000 miles total in the 2+ years. Why? Because I simply don't feel like I could trust my car. Everyone knows my car had been a garage queen. I crank it up once a week and that's it. Fuel leak, oil leak, random unknown noises all over the place, tune was complete shit that it feels like it's not responding at all unless it's at WOT. I'm not a mechanic so when another shop told me the installation mistakes they found and showed it to me in person, I simply can't say "no you guys are wrong! My previous mechanic wouldn't make these mistakes!". It's in front of my face... And I ended up sucking up a big bill for someone's mistake. Tell me if it's fair. Tell me I don't have the right to complain and bring out the facts.

Now I am waiting for the others with similar stories to post here... yes there are so many of them!

Im sure it does. I don't know most of your guys gossip and stories and I really don't care though at this point as I've moved on from that chapter (though I still love the cars obviously). Since I haven't seen or really talked to most of you in a while...would it surprise you Im in a similar boat/shitty situation with with probably the same "shop X" as you all are?

Not in terms of my car though as it's actually running quite well and just needs a bit of maintenance like hoses as stuff. It was built a few years ago I've ran it through it's paces and I knew stuff like this was coming.

All i can say is....you should have installed everything yourself and then cannot blame anybody but yourself...except for the tune.I have always been lucky enough that i have the skill to do everything myself with the exception of tuning a car and so far with well over 70,000 miles of being FI i (luckily) havent had a single problem install related.

I was told by many members on this forum that you cant install the Greddy TT without removing the motor....well i did it and it is still holding together quite well after all of these years.

BTW *** you Bert and Randy in advance as i know what your input will be oh and you to Chris (cass)....lol
