Homeless Kitten :(
#26
I dont think im doing anything tonight. Not even wings. I just got back from the beach with my GF and her family. 4 days with lots of kids 2 dogs and being the only white guy got me really tired. I just want to sit on the couch in a wife beater with a can of budweiser and watch tv

Here's the update on the kitty:
Yesterday evening I went home to pick up the kitten to take her to her new owner. I decided to name her Sadie When I opened my door I noticed my mirror on the floor and Sadie wasn't moving. Some how the darn cat managed knock over my mirror and have it land on her hip. Had to take her to the emergency vet and ended up paying $350 for medicine and exrays. They gave me two options, to either go into surgery which would bring the amount close to $1000. Or to have them pop the hip back in hoping it would stay in place which would mean $500 instead. Even then the doctor said she had never popped a hip back in place so she wasn't sure if she'd do more damage which we mean surgery anyways. So I said F THAT I'll just wait to talk to my vet tomorrow hes way more experienced and not to mention cheaper. So this morning I took her in and told him my story of how I found her and how I can't keep her. First thing he said was she will definitely need surgery if its been dislocated for more then 6hrs. Which I was thinking F I HAVE TO PAY FOR SURGERY ON A CAT THAT I CAN'T KEEP. He told me if I really cannot keep her they could do a test for AIDS and Leukemia...if she was positive they'd have to put her to sleep. If the test was negative theyd pay for surgery and find her a home and the only thing I have to pay for is the $45 AIDS/Leukemia test. Test came back negative and she gets surgery tomorrow
It'll take her 2 months to completely heal but will be running around in 4 weeks or less!! What a freakin week it's been.

Update on Sadie :]
Went to visit her today while my fat dog was getting a check up. They haven't had time for surgery but shes doing good and is still cute as ever! They said most likely the end of this week or next week they'll be doing the surgery
