yeah I told him to paint the mesh black...dunno what happen on that one...I dont like the silver mesh either...it will be painted soon...one way or a ghetto nother..lol

thanks for the compliments all...SS728 you are not making sense...if I painted it wouldnt it still be disgusting to you or is the paint/color what you are referring to...

dont worry about it being ugly, just concentrate on the rear sections, thats all you will ever see anyways...lol

Hey Corey the front bumper is from AIT Racing as well? How was the fitment? Did the shop have to do quite a bit of sanding and molding? The bumper going onto my girl's G is also from AIT Racing. The bumper came in like raw material with no holes drilled or anything.

 

yeah most dont have predrilled holes... there was very little to no addtional work required vs the IVEN klumzee front bumper....cost my boy lots of loot to fix the minor imperfections and cracks in that one.

The fitment is spot on with mine, it looks like the hood is off a bit but its just like the stock one, the stock is black so the gap is less noticeable. I love the fitment and the look.

Call Ray at A&R he will give you a discount if you tell him me and Dave told you to call.

 

I don't think anybody listens to him anymore, he hates every car that isn't stock looking.

 

Good stuff I start school again on the 24th soo I know I will be busy as hell.

 

Now that i have looked at the pictures more i think it fits you and your G perfectly.......i think im likeing it a little better now.I remember when i was gonna get rid of my stillen hood cause everyone said stock looked better...............im glad i didnt so me and you are unigue.....lol

In other words, the bumper is "different". But I think to correct it being "different", painting it black would set it off a little bit better. I'm not being a dick, but I guess I had poor word choice.

I dont get offended easily. I know MANY dont like this front bumper, which was half of my motivation to get it. Just to prove them wrong. I think anything can be done in a tasteful manner to look decent.

its hard to pull this front bumper off, which was the other half of the excitement... just like my trunk overlay, every said NOOOOO, now they are like, "its different, I like it" lol

Paint doesn't match in some of those pics Corey.....is it just the pics? I saw it in person but didnt really look closely when it was on the car...just when it was off.

 

robbie, the gold on the front bumper cover changed colors depending on the angle of the light, there were a couple of shots were the gold center looked black...cool looking paint job!
