I am not sure who this msg needs to go to but Here's my basic story: I sold an item through craigslist to a guy who came to pick the item up. He used my computer to pay for the item through paypal. Unfortunately, he typed in my e-mail address incorrectly meaning that the funds never came to me but he got off with my hks exhaust. His cell number is now turned off and since I have no transaction ID with paypal, they wont give me any of his info.

What I wanted to know is if perhaps this kid had an account on here...his name is Jin Chen, phone number: 443-752-9103 and just graduated high school somewhere. He is from Bel Air. I don't have any other info other than what I just gave you. Perhaps a moderator on here could search to see if he is listed. I did see his Z too..it was a 2008 silver 350z with the body kit from 2 fast 2 furious tokyo drift. He also said his dad just gave him a lamborghini for graduating high school

If there is anything you guys can do to search and see if this kid is on here it would be awesome!

^ THe problem is there's no such movie called 2 fast 2 furious tokyo drift... Anyway.. You talking about the VS V3 widebody kit? What color was the car? If it is that kit, I'm sure somebody would know this person since it's rare and very flashy.

 

Sorry to hear about your loss. Sounds like the guy really thought things out. Chances are, Jin Chen isn't his real name, used a non-contract phone and probably didn't sign into his paypal account.

I'd go into this as a total loss but you can start by tracking down the phone #, check the paypal account he signed into (hopefully you didn't clear your cookies or sign into paypal after he used the computer), and file a stolen report with the cops.

He did log into his paypal account bc we did it here at my house. The problem was that he sent the funds to myemail.con, instead of myemail.com...he asked if it was the right name and I said yeah and then he sent it. Neither of us saw the issue. We had both called paypal to get it figured out. His account was showing a withdrawl of $800 but since it was sent to a wrong address the money had not been given to me.

The color of the car was the stock lighter silver..2008..completely painted all silver.

He said he wanted to have the car matched to the color of either that rx7 or the s2000--whatever the car was that was like orange on the hood and then black the rest of the body.

Does anyone have any ideas as to if it is possible to search for registered Z's in MD? He did have MD plates..

 

also, paypal would not tell me any of his details because they said that since the money was never sent to me or my address, technically he had never given me any of his info thru paypal, and therefore paypal could not give me any of his info. PAYPAL is bullsh!t as well. They wouldn't even file a claim for me.

My ideas are maybe searching MD Z's in bel air or finding any instal shops in bel air that could have put his kit on? But I don't know if any place would be able to give me any of his information anyways. That's why I'm trying to figure out if any1 had any ideas or strings to pull.
