Mid-A's Own Joy_Ride(Brittany) Looking For a Boyfriend Thread
My dilemma is that I want to go air-runner suspension, and throw all the body mods on. That will turn it into a car that I cant beat the shiot out of, i.e.e a car i rarely drive or a car that turns into a showcar only.
the G isnt my daily, but i literally beat the shiot out of it fridays and saturdays.
Utec isn't that bad, I mostly have just 1 issue where when the car is under a light load as soon as it goes from - boost to + boost it stumbles and wants to stall, only way to get past it is to lay into the throttle, so at times driving it means either keeping it below 0+ boost, no throttle or 50% or more throttle. for the most part I just mash it to the floor and it takes off. When I left the meet last night I laid into it in 1st, went to shift into 2nd and ease on the throttle, car fell flat on its face. I wasn't about to do another full throttle run in 2nd gear lol at least not in the parking lot.
Also for some reason I was also having a problem at idle, when I would get to a stop light the car would run reallllllly rich and bog down and stall, I had to give it a good bit of gas and rev it up a bit to keep it from stalling, at that point you could see the nice cloud of richness come out the exhaust =) That one is new to me. hopefully the weather was just right to cause it to do that.
Dave at FT says he can easily smooth out my - boost to + boost under light throttle issue, its been 1.5 years and I have still yet to meet up with him (100% my fault) I can't fully bash the utec until dave gives it a 1 over and it still acts up, however everyone I know who runs or better yet ran, a utec, has hated it.

As to retuning every year, that's like having to return your car everyday the weather is different. It will slightly effect things but no way warrant a full retune
The ECU should compensate for it. My issue is I have a problem before weather is factored into it.
