It's winter......
4" snow up north here in PA, had the salt trucks out for roads and everything. Got caught with my 22" summer rims still on my truci cause the powder coater couldn't deliver my winter rims on time
.
Picked up the rims yesterday and will swap out to my rugged winter look monday or tuesday (will try to post some before/after pics). Snow = bad for business, bu also = WIN on the 4-wheeler
Worst part about yesterday was that my wife got a flat on the highway. She called AAA, but they said it may be an hour and she had her sister and the kids with her. I dropped her off my truck and had the tire swap 90% done when the tow truck showed up. It took longer to read the manual to find the jack handle for her Volvo then it did to change the stupid tire
. Scored major wife points with that one though.

A car flew down the road in the snow T-boned her car and damaged the quarter panel. But hey the guy admitted at fault... so someone is paying for some fresh paint and maybe a few hookups from the body shop. Ricer brownie points for me!!!
I was speaking of my truck Etan, the Z is up on jack stands right now having more mods started
If I took my Z out today i probably couldn't even make it back up the driveway. They don't plow out here in the sticks much, if you don't have 4wd, you just stay home.
So, by my count, the first snow took down a ride already in the Mid-A. Lets all be extra careful this year please. Last year it seems we lost 6-7 cars over the winter.

Wow Chris you're actually gonna drive your monster Z in the winter?! You my friend are the type of Z drivers that admire!!! Why put the Z away in the winter?!?!?!

Had a close call last night in the Toyota truck. Driving across 95 on a small bridge doing about 40 in a 50 zone the rear end decided to wanted to outrun my front. After counter steering 4 different times and pumping the brakes cus a lack of ABS, I finally caught some traction and was able to avoid the guardrail and oncoming traffic. So just remember the bridge DO freezes before road.
Sidenote: Thusday in the Z, I got my first moving violation ticket in 12 years. Apparently I went into a turning lane too quick and that was deemed wreckless driving but was reduced to illegal lane change. Meh weaksauce...

This. I saw so many accidents just before or after bridges and exit ramps last night it was crazy... I even almost lost it in my Jeep...
came upon a bridge and the guy in front of me spun out
, and there was already a car off on the shoulder, I tapped my brakes for a second and the car slid a bit, I let off the brakes and just steered through it... not cool

Anybody have a SB 03-06 hood.....I need one. I think in the metro areas the roads will be fine.....out here in the sticks of Frederick is usually colder and snows a bit more. We'll see. Maybe take the Z out on drag radials for the dorifto practice......it's a possibility.
