My mom is looking into the prius but only for the gas savings nothing to do with the environment.

I didn't even think about the price to gas burning ratio where the corolla would be cheaper. I will have to talk to her about her purchase lol

I wish I had a 19 gallon tank in my mariner... it seems I am going thru more gas now than i did my z... but its equalling the same as the z. BUt cost close to 36cents less

a corolla would be cheaper in the long run. those pruis use those gay lithium-ion battery that cost like 4k or something like that.

di dyou not read it?? It says the batteries have been tested over 100K miles and no problems and that they come with a 8yr 100,000 mile warranty soo that means you dont have to replace them

Nope didnt read it. I read the first post and thats it. Sure they tested it but you could be the unlucky one to get the car with the bad battery and somehow they'll say it's your fault. just sayin
