Heck yeah, it was friggin TIGHT! 4-5 lanes wide with not another single car in sight... ok well I lied, Kat_Ayanami was behind me and we hit up 495 to do some twin inertia AWD drifting. My best angle was 160 degrees slideways, @ 45mph, full throttle. I think he has some videos of the super ricer action up later for you guys.

Sad news: Tomorrow will be the LAST day to go Rallying on the highway. (But there are a few parking lots that are donut'able, just not as fun as ricing it out on the highway)

I drove by so many police officers stuck in the snow, I felt sorry for them. But I don't understand why they or anyone with a RWD car would do in 2ft worth of snow. Common sense isn't so common.

I think I spent about 4hrs shoveling today, now THAT was the sucky part. Try shoveling out an entire car that has snow up to the sideview mirrors... NOT fun... (But totally worth it if you're going to be a ricer)

Only took about 2.5 hours to clear the stairs, driveway, sidewalk, and 2 cars.

40-50mph + AWD Beater + completely empty highway + a crap load of snow =
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mHFTqOtd3dY

1st drift was the only good one caught on tape where I built up enough speed to catch some major angle. The rest were combo back-to-back inertia mini-drifts (can't really see it well in the video though)

Another note: The custom Camera window mount Kay_Ayanami made (used while filming the video above) was genius! It's super stable and under $30! Screw headrest mounts! This one sticks to your front windshield!

Today, I saw some Subaru's and EVO's on the road, but they didn't rice it out as I had anticipated. The ones I saw drove under 20mph and limping as fast as the FWD economy cars next to them. All I gotta say is... if you got "STi" or "EVOLUTION" badged on your trunk... friggin DRIVE IT like one!!

And.... with that in mind. I saw this STi on the road driving at a snail's pace over the snow, so I went beside him and busted a drift. I think that was the most ricer chit I've ever done in my entire life. Screw revving, screw trying to race, DRIFT past the sucker!

I was waiting to see some ricers on the road, but I found out that the ricers were driving SUVs on Saturday!

My DD converted into winter mode - 235K on the odo and still rock solid

My pre-winter splurge - new knobby tires and powder coated the stock rims

The driveway - not fun with this much snow

This is a 55 gal drum half buried... my hillbilly fire pit

My helper.... I forgot how much fun snow is when you're 6

Took a new battery and a fresh spark plug, but finally got it running yesterday, just in time to go to work . The fun with this starts today!
