The NWS in baltimore md/Washington has issued a winter weather advisory for snow, sleet and freezing rain, which is in effect from 11 pm this evening to 1 pm est saturday.
Precipitation type, snow, sleet and freezing rain.
Accumulations, one to two inches of snow and sleet. Around two tenths inch of ice accumulation from freezing rain.
Timing, precipitation will mix with freezing rain late tonight before changing to all freezing rain Saturday morning. Precipitation will end by early Saturday afternoon.
Temperatures, low temperatures in the mid to upper 20s tonight. Highs Saturday in the mid to upper 30s.
Winds, east 5 to 10 mph becoming north Saturday.
Impacts, significant wintry precipitation will cause dangerous traveling conditions late this evening through Saturday morning. Ice will accumulate on trees and powerlines.
