Mason Dixon is running test and tune on both this coming Saturday the 6th, and sunday the 7th.... runs from 12-5 pm... open at 10 am... I am pretty sure Cecil also open this Saturday as well

im not sure... It all depnds on if I sell the ones I have now to get a different set.

the ones I have now im pretty sure are a 9 1/2" width

Unfortunately in 18's they jump from 265 to 305. 305 has a min wheel width of 10".

The 40 sidewall will give it a little more "bite" than a 35 on those because of the uber soft sidewalls. They might be a bit small for a ~400whp set-up, but you should be able to pull 1.7's w/o much issue.......it will be enough to give the stock axles a serious jolt if you aren't careful though.

yea I know Im looking into upgrading the axels soon too... we will see what happens.

im gonna see what happens with selling the stock rims I have then il be ordering a set depending on if the rims I have sell or not and what I decide to order

Also, I'd go with the 40 sidewall for gearing purposes as well. With the stock 3.5FD you should be able to cross the line in the 4th.....6900 in 4th on that sidewall should be about 118-120mph.

I'd just find a set of lightweight 17x10's and get the 305's......that or 17x9's and use the 265's. Might run out of gear on the 305/35, but they have a 305/45 as well. Lightweight 9/10" wheels are much easier to find in applicable offsets in 17's than 16's. There are also better sized DR's in 17's.

i dont think a 16" rim would fit either... Ill keep looking.... im not sure what exactly im gonna do yet I may just run on street tires soo I can still do my back road runs and have fun on the highways until I can get my body work done to accommodate my gram lites
