Got there just in time to watch Barn run a couple times, meet Paul and then watch all you guys drive away....

 

My best time of the day was a 13.3@105 1.93 60'. The right lane was killing me all day so I switched lanes and dropped 2 tenths instantly. I think I could have pulled a 1.8 if I would have run in the left lane more.

 

^^ yup I stayed in the left lane all day... only ran in the right lane once, and it sucked..

 

Weird.....I always went faster in the right lane at Capital. AJ it did seem like your car running stronger later today than I have ever seen it at Capital. That 15mph headwind and temps at almost 60 were going against you guys though.

 

For some reason when I start up the car, I shoot a little bit of white smoke out. Great!

 

Awww man, wish I'd seen this thread sooner, I got there around 2 and left at 3:30 'cause I had to meet the family for dinner at 4:30 lol.

Got two runs in, saw some other Z's running also and spoke to one guy with a G35. Who was in the Orange Z with the carbon fiber?

Wish I had gotten there earlier to get more runs in. I might go to MIR next Sunday though since I have nothing going on as of yet...

I did run a 13.78 at 98mph though. The gearing is killing me in the HR. I didn't shift to fourth and hit the rev limit. I guess I actually did better than my first run (13.8 @ 102), and then because I thought I was doing worse didn't shift into 4th and screwed it up????

I got pics and HD vids but not of any Corvettes... didn't know u were running or ever seen your car so I missed it. I did see a couple vettes out there, did yours have chrome wheels and street tires suffering from some major wheel hop?

I might go to cecil next weekend I hear there was only 30 cars there for their TnT saturday.

yeah the right lane was crap. I was running 13's in the left and 14's in the right.

your run didn't look slow. you ran 13.5 against the silver sti right?

 

If you are breaking 100 mph for trap speed, then your run isn't exactly slow.....

Hmm, maybe I should get in the left lane next time? Both my runs were in the right lane.

 

I missed second against that guy!!! and it killed me!!
