Ah..one of the pros of just modding your Z as opposed to buying a supercar.

 

R8's are great all around cars........while doing not a single thing great.....figure that out lol. My 350z probably out handles that car in the measurables too.

 

350z's are all around good and great at nothing maybe thats why I like it so much

What makes you think insurance is less?

Insurance is based on how much risk and how many claims are made on a car.

My 350Z was damn cheap to insure up to about 2 years ago then it started to go up every year, now its a good bit more to insure then it was back in 2003. Gee I wonder why...

my 2008 C350 is HALF the cost to insure with statefarm then my 2003 Trailblazer.

I bet an R8 would cost less to insure then my Trailblazer.

geico doesn't insure R8's soo I couldnt pull up a quote. I guess you have to get exotic car insurance??

Geico is the biggest piece of **** insurance company I've ever dealt with. I'm not surprised they wouldn't insure an R8

 

plan your ENTIRE build first. decide on your power levels and what your use of the car will be then buy the things you need to support that goal

Will make it MUCH easier in the end.

 

They tried to get me to sign up with them I told them I track my car and they said we are sorry we cant insure you since we now know this lol.
