The one car garages in the new townhomes in maryland for the most part only fit Smart cars. If you want a real garage in maryland, either buy a mansion with a five car garage to fit 2 cars and tools, etc. or build your own monster garage.

I'd gladly be willing to sell my condo and move, but if and only if we can include a "Linh sharing clause" into my closing costs. (())

I take it you dont live in NVA?

Right now the townhomes with no garages in my neighborhood are running in the 300-305 range with garages 315-325 range. And that's after the makret pulled back.

That puts you around 2200 once you factor in tax, morg insurance, home insurance. Then another 110 for HOA and then there's the front foot fee of 25/mo

so more like 2400 for if you buy one without a garage try 2500 for one with a garage.

that's based on my rate of 4.75%

Keep in mind these townhomes are not in the middle of no where, 20 minutes to Baltimore, Annapolis and about 15 minutes to the metro or 25 minutes to DC.

I go to NVA way too often and it's not uncommon to see 1 car townhomes there. They tend to be even more pricey then here.

Plus VA just plain sucks for drivers.

If I had a bike still I'd love to live there. The roads you took me on were definitely great. Would be awesome to have decent riding that close.

I'm actually very intersetd in renting this place but I can't move until November.... If it is empty until then, it is very possible.... I'm not so HOT myself but I do occasionally have attractive women come over... Does that count? And I hope that garage is large enough to fit my car. LOL.....

This place may go pretty quickly.... if it does, "On to the next one"

I can also rent a townhome somewhere else for 1000.00 a month in fact I can buy a town house in the middle of no where for less then 1000.00 a month.

Location location location.

My 1 bedroom apartment was 1500+ in the same neighborhood 3 bedroom apartment was going to run me 2200+

It's a very nice area again in the middle of Baltimore, DC, and Annapolis. Some people don't seem to get that. It's a high dollar area and thankfully when the market pulled back it effected this area but nothing like other areas.

I have no idea how long it will be around, it took about 1 month to get a renter last time. it says move in as early as june 1st.

My girl has a townhouse in Piney Orchard with a one car garage. She just got a contract on it for 350K. With Prinicple, interest and insurance, that puts your payment over 2250 and that doesn't even include that 3 different HOAs. 1750 is a pretty good deal for this area. I love this area(and I HATE Maryland)
