We could host a pig roast. I have all the stuff to be able to do it. It works out to roughly $5 for beer and $5 for pig for 50 people. You can increase the size of the pig depending on numbers. But we all know with this group its impossible to get a head count, but we could make it work.
Just throwing it out there.

Just curious, are we not using the NZC fourm anymore?

Maybe just PM a mod and get the mod changed for that section?

Having a centralized meeting spot brings us together and allows non members to see what the club is doing. MAYBE have an NZC Events Only tab inside the Mid-A, but I don't think that is a necessity.
You'll note that on G35driver, everyone in our region posts in the NGC section, official member or not, and the g35 mid-a regional section is dead.

I have requested Moderator power for the NZC if we can get that I will propose to move over there and use that for the new area to post in. If I dont then I would personally rather stay here as its easier to get attention from MODS to move things and keep it cleaned up.

You should re-think this. You are proposing we de-centralize discussion instead of having everything in one place.

The most important thing for all of the NZC members to remember is... there isn't a club without members and participation from members. If you want this club to be successful, you must give it 100% because if you only go half way... then that will set the tone for other members and future members. You either want to rep NZC all the way or you don't. It starts from reppin nzc in your signatures on here....to the decals you place on your car... to posting in your section of the forum...to how you treat one another. Good luck.

barny just to break it down for you:
A pig roast for 30-40 people plus 1 keg of budlight will cost 400 dollars roughly. It will also require the commitment of 4 people from morning until end. This does not include side dishes and stuff so we would need to tell people to bring wives and GFs so they could make some stuff. (jeffie could handle this on his own of course). I just wanted to give you the break down. i usually charge $10 a person but I come up short a lot of times. (building materials usually but pig, beer, and charcoal are usually covered).
I dunno. Just letting you know in case you liked the idea
