Barny you know I wont drive it in the rain. You really think I would touch the track. Thats cool, so everyone will just be watchin the cars run? I have never been to SP. Is there a large grand stand? Thanks, Robert

If you are talking about Time Trials you have to be signed off and be an instructor or Advanced to run. I am still in intermediate. I don't like to run on weekends when there is drifting.....they can't keep 4 wheels on the pavement to save their mothers lives. The debris litters the track all over. It cuts down tires, causes significant paint damage, etc.........no thanks.

All the HPDE's are full....only time trials seems to be open and you must be HPDE 3 (advanced) or an instructor to run that event. It is more strict than Redline and some of the other sanctioning bodies.

What is the hyperdrive on the Jefferson circuit?

Edit....maybe this is what you were thinking barny.....

HYPERDRIVES™

Drive with a Pro. Learn to Drive LIKE a Pro.

REGISTER TODAY! Your dream is to be a race driver. You want the cars, the money, the hotties, and all that comes with a racer's life. But...usually the expense of getting into racing is extreme. Well, Hyper Fest and NASA have made it easy and inexpensive for you to get involved and get a taste of the excitement.

This is your chance to experience the awesome, Jefferson Circuit at Summit Point Raceway.

HyperDrives™ sre an introduction to the world of high performance driving on the racetrack and for only $40. Your classroom session will teach the basics you will need when you are at speed and then it's off to the track where your personal instructor will strap into your passenger seat and coach you as you push your car faster and faster. This is the first step to your dream! Are you driver enough to take it?

Drivers must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license or ID. Every car must pass a basic technical inspection (check the NASA HPDE tech sheet here) for safety reasons. Loaner helmets are available.

If you have registered on line you still must check in at the Information Booth at the track. Spots will be filled on a first come first served basis for session assignment. There are 2 sessions during the day. Get to the track early to schedule the one you want.

I think I am going to run up and watch some of the W2W races on Sat. The jefferson circuit is a small, small circuit. It is used for autox events. I don't know how many laps you get for 40 bucks though.

The show, most of the racing, etc is on Sat. I am going to go up mid morning on Sat, but probably not on Sun.
