Default Possible plans for a huge Philly meet. Part 2

DATE Sept 4th, 2010

This meet is going reach out to everyone who can make it. It's an Idea I had brewing in my head for a while now and from the experience I have seen with how NGC puts things together I would like to make this an official meet every year. I know a lot of the NGC members have either sold their Gs or even left the club however, this type of meet will reach out to everyone.

This is meet I would like to setup will include all cars/clubs/friends/people I know who ever. The event will take place on Saturday Sept 4th. I'm considering making this a fundraiser/raffle event "Maximilian meet". The drive will be to Philly, PA to a Philly cheese Steak spot of your choice then Fairmount Park for a picnic leaving off with a photo shoot afterwards.

Awards and prizes will be given out at the picnic after lunch and I would like to include a $2.00 "Donation" raffle which will go towards:

The Walter Reed Society - Walter Reed Society helps provide for the needs of many returning injured service members and their families. http://www.wramc.amedd.army.mil/Pages/default.aspx

If anything this meet will "give back" to those who are severing our Nation some who will never come home again.

The plan for the meet is still in the works as I'm lookin for input from our club Pres. Mr Lek and others. Please feel free to input ideas or what is needed to kick this event into full gear.

My plan is to have the event day on Saturday Sept 4th. Hope all can make this date.

Fairmount Park-

Labor Day Weekend. Might not be a good weekend for it. But who knows. Could be a great weekend for it.
