Ricer Tale of Day:
Saw a convertible army green 240 w/ a "shark" painted on the side of the car. I happen to be right behind him in the beater while we were approaching one of my fav highway exit ramps: decreasing radius downhill turn w/ a short straightaway sprint before approaching a 90 degree sharp.
His ricer instincts kicked as he noticed a ricer (me) was behind him on the exit ramp so he decided to gun it. From the looks of the rear camber, it could've been possible it was one of those "drift monkey" guys - maybe a good handling car so I decided to set pace.
However, from the way the car dampened and rebound (like a bunny rabbit) I could tell the shocks were not properly dialed in and/or blown... or his spring rates were way too high. I decided to back off a bit on the off chance he might get a little too overzealous.
Upon corner exit, he had 33% too much throttle and as expected, the dude pulls a " 350zJDC" and the car goes into a mad-tight-JDM-oversteer almost ramming into an MDX. Luckily he recovered and kept cool the rest of the way and no people/cars/animals were injured in this ricer adventure.
