I heard they put glass trans in all Daytona Blue Z's

With that being said, I'll be on the lookout for a trans for you bro.

Yea totally sucks! Wasnt even one of those I think im bout to break things. Car was running perfect yesterday, drive into work today FML. Plus side is that it is still under warranty and already ordered. New tranny will here on weds. My ? is... Could i do anything to the stock tranny to make it a bit more stout while it is out, and it not cost me a damn arm and a leg like everything else in this damn car...???

Then why does this thread even exist? There has to be some "fell off the truck discount" for people working there, no?

It is...there are G/Z's laying down 800-1000whp on completely stock drivetrain (upgraded clutch and axles though).... I guess the OP has bad luck.

yeah i did quit a bit of looking around on here and came to the same conclusion, but i completely agree that the motors are made of glass, i drove my car for less then 20 minutes before one of my cams sheered off
