I ran garbage high 12's best trap 109, I didn't put on my track tires, so I was getting pretty bad 60 fts. And spinning through second.

I would like to do Wednesday night, but for the tome being I am on the night shift at work...

Is Shin's car a 5at or 6mt and is he tuned? I went there last Friday with Aj and we both couldn't break into he 12's on the juice the weather sucked.

N/A his best was 13.5 mine was 13.8 with me driving full weight with him driving my car 13.7. I just noticed he Shin lives in Owings Mills also.

Lmk next time you plan on going. Hopefully Aj can roll.

I'm auto also along with AJ we both run low 13's at Cecil on a good day. 14.0 is good for a stock car.

Shin could have Zain race his car for him. 150 - 200 lbs of weight reduction could go a long way.

It sure does!! AJ runs faster in my car due to him weighing 100lbs less than me.

If I would of reduced weight in my car and let him drive when I ran 13.14 last winter the car would of went 12's for sure N/A.

Ventus v12 dosent have the greatest traction esp with my car.The toyo t1r's were much better but quite a bit more expensive.

RS3 for sure. I have em for road course use and love em. Very sticky compared to my Toyo T1R.

Lol I did race shins car, I ran a 13. 92 @100 ,weight was obviously a factor , however I pulled a better 60 ft than he did, mainly because I heated the tires more than he was during his runs.

If they had let me run again I am sure I could have pulled a 13.8

How did they find out it wasn't your car? Was it empty like it usually is when we go.

Yeah it was pretty empty by the time I ran his car, plus I was not wearing a helmet, the tech guy recognized me an knew I had the corvette.

It probably does not help that I was wearing clothes that look like I was ready to hit the bars ( mainly because I came to the track straight from being out the night before lol) ... nothing like racing in topsiders ha

Oh yeah shin is also a hard individual to miss !

Shin, you have all those timeslips and dont know what went good or bad in each one to describe what happened.

You need to take quick notes on the back of the slips or in a log immediately after each run. "manually shifted, didnt heat tires/heated tires, left in drive/heated tires, launched off the converter", etc, etc. I used to do tire pressure, shift points per run, launch style, everything. The more detailed you do this the quicker you will see what works and what doesnt. Most people dont do this though.

This is optimal for somebody starting, otherwise you will run 25X, have 5 decent slips and the rest are bad. At the end of the day you wont know what caused you to do what.

And def heat the tires a little more.
