Going to the track again (October 15)
Oh, and it's not my first time driving a manual car. I just chose to get an Auto Z because when I test drove the manual one my legs kept banging against the bottom of the dash.

What happens when the next car can't run 13s?
Why does running 13s mean so much to you? I could run a 14 second 1/4 in my z and I would care less. It's a 350z 90% of my enjoyment is from back roads the feeling of setting up a good turn down shifting and letting the rear end get sideways coming out of the turn.
Same for the bike nothing feels better then rev matching down shifts into a turn then powering out of a turn.
I don't care if it's a 90hp car or 390hp car.
Hell, I'd take a 14 second 6 speed 350z that feels like a go kart on backroads any day over a low 13 second auto z with stock suspension.
So it's about time I finally did SOMETHING.
14 sec Z= can't drive.
13 sec Z= can drive.
Its not about making or breaking, it's about accomplishing something. It's about getting my skill level there.
You say .1 of a second doesnt mean much. Well remember, 1 point is the difference between passing or failing a test. A pinch of salt too much will ruin your dish. So, .1 of a second is in fact, the difference between fast and slow.

13 seconds in a Z doesn't really mean you're all that great of a driver. Many people have done it before. Hell, how many times did Zain take to get it in the 13s? Hes never even owned a Z.
It's also not accomplishing anything for anyone but yourself. If you set a goal of standing up and taking one step forward, then you do it, that's accomplishing something......
14 is slow
13.9 is less slow but is still SLOW
13.5 is little less slow then the last less slow
13.0 isn't as slow but it isn't fast many stock cars can run low 13s
12 is quick
11 is fast
10 is is getting pretty sick
9 or less is bawls out fast
You get your stock Z to run deep into the 13s then I'd respect that. But high 13s.... who cares. Just enjoy the car, stop being so worried about showing everyone you can drive it 1/10th of a second faster, then telling everyone if you cant do it you'll be done with the car and move on to something else.

Shin you seem to make a big deal out of a lot of things. The bottom line is no one cares if you activate your youtube page again or if you run 13s or only manage 14s. Some people might joke with you about your times, but they are only joking. It would be cool to say something like "hey guys I finally broke 13 seconds in my stock Z", but other then that it has been brought up to much. As for the youtube page deal, it was impressive that you held up to your word on something so pointless as taking down a youtube page. As for putting it up, it kind of hurts the "community" but no more then any of the other 350z videos online at this point. But in the end no one who is your real friend would care if you reactivated it.
this is ridiculous. Shin really dude grow up man. If you wanna hit 13s cool man do it. We all really dont care if u do or not, and your youtube page is again your own business. It's not like you were a famous youtube star anyways.
I hate to be Blunt, but you're starting to embarrass yourself. We are boys and all but enough is enough. You care too much what people think and honestly...no one really cares what you do. Why don't you put more time and effort into your music and positively influence and inspire the scene and upcoming generations rather than car what a buncha car dudes think.
