Was a good time today! Everyone got a new PB. My best was 11.8@120 1.6 60ft.

03threefiftyz has no idea how this happened to plug #5 on his 2nd run, but it ran like a champ after replacing it :/ :

That "burnout" I thought I was going to get tossed out the window the wheel hop was so bad...mission aborted. Also worst launch of the day...fail.

Still a decent time for basically unheated tires! It was my fault for telling you to use 2nd :P I didn't think bias ply's would hop like that.

Thanks for the vids didn't feel like I got that sideways just a little more than the normal sway with slicks.

Nice to see everyone and Dec is a good month for us with PB's Mike (2 ), myself and Zain (3) all in Dec over the yrs.

Just have to get my lowend issue fixed with a higher stall convertor and/or maybe 3.7 gears.

Jose went 13.6 which is a PB for him.

I think you would of 12.8 or 12.7 if you replaced your spark plug sooner. Luckily Randy had a extra coil pack for you to get your PB and no damage to your engine.

Yep. You guys were all in the zone putting down good times...didn't want anyone to have to stop on my behalf. My mine gripe is that I didn't spend a few bucks and re-align the rear. I think that is what hurt the most (besides the driver). I was still rowing the gears alright, and didn't power shift at all. There is plenty of time figure it out. My next drag runs likely won't be until Dec of next year.

December of next year? o_O?

March is also a good time to drag (from what I understand). Why not then?

Because the first national race is in early March. My car will have aero and all on at that point. It would be slower in a straight line...

Just counted all the time slips I could find, looks like I ran 25 times, and I think there are more slips in my car lol

Hey guys. It was great meeting you all yesterday. I had a good time even though I wasn't hooking up for sh%t on my 19's. I definitely have to work on tuning my driver mod! LOL It looks like the track started to hook better after noon though. Congrats guys!

(sorry I didn't have time to come back to the track after lunch to at least say goodbye Derek and Randy)

Yeah... I went 13.6@105 with a 2.28 60'. So i have a lot of improving to do out of the hole.

Randy and Derek....add your slips to the top 25 thread. You both made it in your respective brackets. I probably won't update for a while after tonight.

Nice meeting you Jose. Don't feel bad about your hole work... it was a tough day for traction and street tires + 6MT is a unique challenge on any track or day. My average 60' on 18's and 20's is around 2.1.

Not sure about a record but the car still had more trap in it as I was running low boost 9psi. Plenty of driver mod left, mainly shifting speed - If you watch the video of the 11.9 run it sounds like I'm granny shifting compared to mike LOL.
